DFG Collaborative Research Centres
Collaborative Research Centres (CRC), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), are institutions established at the university for a period of up to 12 years that enable researchers to pursue innovative research projects, crossing the boundaries of traditional subjects and disciplines. In a variation of the programme, the „CRC/Transregio“, up to three universities cooperate in pursuit of a joint research aim.
